In my four winters here in South Korea, this is by far the coldest. It's already the end of April and the temps are still in the 40s for highs. No wonder the cabbage and cucumber crops were severely damaged by this cold this year, but all the strawberries came off at once (great prices for consumers, but bad for the farmers).
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I thought I'd let you know that "Southland" will make it back for a third season of 10 episodes in 2011. The ratings weren't pretty, but it is a marquee show on TNT as it is produced by John Welles.
Here's something Nightline ran last night that you might have caught if you suffered from the same "sleep" disease that these poor souls do. I can't imagine being awake for 30 straight days and then dying from not being able to go to sleep. One family, lost 8 members from it. Tonight the whole episode airs on National Geographic Channel's "Explorer: Fatal Insomnia." I guess I will set my dvr to record it now.
