Pearls of witticism from 'Bo the Blogger: Kushibo's Korea blog... Kushibo-e Kibun... Now with Less kimchi, more nunchi. Random thoughts and commentary (and indiscernibly opaque humor) about selected social, political, economic, and health-related issues of the day affecting "foreans," Koreans, Korea and East Asia, along with the US, especially Hawaii, Orange County and the rest of California, plus anything else that is deemed worthy of discussion. Forza Corea!

A tough day to be a chicken
Denny's was kind enough to treat America to a free Grand Slam Breakfast today (Tuesday) from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., so I took a breakfast buddy with me to Aiea and gobbled down two eggs, two sausage links, two slices of bacon, and two pancakes. I paid for the coffee (and I left a sizable tip).
This is my reward for watching the Superbowl, which announced this special in one of their commercials. When you're a grad student on a tight budget, this kind of deal is important.
And that's all I'm going to write. If I keep going, this will end up as a tirade about how hard it is to find a good Western breakfast even in Seoul, which prevents me from calling the capital a truly "global city."
