ReplyDeleteTrue, that. But I'm fairly well disciplined and I make such things an occasional treat. A friend had friends visiting from Japan and that was the occasion for heading over there.
ReplyDelete(It's smack in the middle of Waikiki and it's easy to find, plus there's Apple Store Royal Hawaiian right nearby which mitigates the annoyance of having to wait an hour to get in on weekends, so it becomes the de facto meet-up place when you've got visitors to see, sort of like Waikiki's answer to New York Bakery near Kangnam Station.)
I jog five kilometers a day and take care of myself. I have the same build I did when I was twenty-one, and my BMI is still in the healthy range, so I allow myself the occasional indulgence.
