This has been a catalyst for much debate and discussion, some of it enlightening and some of it contentious. I would like to blog on this more later, but for now I'll just link to what I thought was a good discussion of the issue on PBS's "Newhour."
Plus what I think should go down in history as one of the greatest speeches on race in America, Obama's "A More Perfect Union" speech, when then-candidate Obama as he addressed the issue himself in light of the Reverend Wright controversy.
