Pearls of witticism from 'Bo the Blogger: Kushibo's Korea blog... Kushibo-e Kibun... Now with Less kimchi, more nunchi. Random thoughts and commentary (and indiscernibly opaque humor) about selected social, political, economic, and health-related issues of the day affecting "foreans," Koreans, Korea and East Asia, along with the US, especially Hawaii, Orange County and the rest of California, plus anything else that is deemed worthy of discussion. Does anyone have any updates on Matt Robinson they'd like to share?
I may go to his Facebook page and put together some updates myself, but if anyone close to his situation would like to share some news (especially good news), then I'd be willing to give the floor over to you. Just send an email to the contact information in my profile.

I got that note from his mother broadcast on Facebook that he was doing well.
ReplyDeleteAre you on Facebook? If you're a member of the group they send out emails from time to time. I haven't checked to see if they've also just copied/pasted them for all to see, but if not I'll pass them along here in a little bit.

Hey, I haven't been following this and I'm seriously not trying to be insensitive. But I'm just curious, does anybody know if this guy had family members who were willing to help out? I'm sure it's not the first time a foreigner needed money to pay for an emergency, but why all of the fund raising for this particular person? I realize over $25,000 is a lot for anybody, but I think some family members could have helped out also, if he had any. I think the community was great for raising the funds though.
