From the "I'm not hurting anyone else" files

Meet David Paradiso. David made the papers one day in December 2006 when he stabbed his girlfriend of two weeks in the neck and dumped her body near a road in the area around Stockton, California.

He said he believed she was going to kill him, so he had to kill her first.

Did I mention he was on methamphetamine at the time?

So he's on trial for that murder when what does he do? His drug-addled brain decides to stab the judge in his murder trial, Cinda Fox. One of the cops in the courtroom, who happened to be the lead investigator in the murder case, shot David dead.

I'm all for legalizing pot, but we've ripped the lid off Pandora's Box with methamphetamine. This is a drug that leaves too small a margin of error for even casual experimentation. This drug fu¢fks people up. So do we legalize it? Do we allow pot and really come down on meth? For Middle America — especially White Middle America — what to do about meth has already become a pressing issue.

I'm just glad I live in Hawaii where.... Oh, never mind

Well, there's always Korea. Oh, wait. Scratch that, too.
